GlowAF is committed to accuracy. When we make mistakes · and we will make them · we correct them promptly, transparently, and without hiding the error.
Our Commitment
- We correct factual errors as quickly as possible after they are identified · usually within 24 to 48 hours
- We do not silently edit articles to remove errors · significant corrections are noted in the article
- We do not delete articles to avoid accountability for errors
- Minor corrections (typos, grammar, formatting) are fixed silently
- Factual corrections (wrong price, incorrect ingredient information, outdated product status) are noted with a correction notice
What Counts as a Correction
- Factual error · A stated fact that is demonstrably incorrect (wrong product price, wrong ingredient name, wrong clinical claim)
- Outdated information · A product that has been discontinued, reformulated, or significantly changed in price
- Misleading claim · Information that, while not strictly false, could mislead a reasonable reader
How Corrections Are Marked
When a significant factual correction is made, we add a correction note at the top of the affected section:
Correction (DD Mon YYYY): This section previously stated [incorrect information]. It has been updated to reflect [correct information].
How to Report an Error
If you believe something on GlowAF is factually incorrect:
- Use our contact form
- Include the URL of the page containing the error
- Describe the specific error and, where possible, provide a source for the correct information
We will acknowledge your report and investigate. If the error is confirmed, we will correct it and notify you.
What We Cannot Correct
- Opinions and recommendations · These reflect our editorial judgement based on available evidence. We may revise them but they are not "errors" in the factual sense
- Individual results · If a product did not work for you, that does not make our review factually incorrect. Skincare results are individual
